American Pilgrims Local Chapters

Did you know that there's a good chance that you live close to an American Pilgrims local chapter? Many are surprised to discover that. Local chapters were created to bring the Camino experience closer to home - to help would-be and veteran pilgrims connect with or to stay connected with the Camino. Most chapters offer regular events, such as walks and hikes, informative presentations on packing, Camino first aid, route descriptions and the like, and social get-togethers. Most have personal mentoring programs. Whether you are a past, future or possible peregrino, you ought to check it out. Our Local Chapters page has a map showing locations and links to the individual chapters! A further suggestion: Will you be visiting somewhere in the country? Check to see if there is a local there and if they happen to be hosting an event during your visit. You'll find a ready-made community of friends! (If you find that you're not near a chapter, read about starting one!)

Headed to Spain this summer? Why not take a class?
We have just posted several language, culture and history classes. All happen to be in Santiago so what a great way to end your Camino. Check them out on our International Events page!
American Pilgrims Clean Camino competition winners!

American Pilgrims on the Camino is proud to launch its Clean Camino logo in the hopes of bringing awareness to the issue of increasing litter along the Camino. The slogan was submitted by Terry Kristensen and Kevin Metz and the logo artwork is a creation of Kevin Metz. With this logo in mind, it is our hope that all pilgrims will do their part to maintain a pristine Camino!
